Community Spotlight: How Orchard Home Cleaning and JAM – Helping Out Are Supporting Local Families in Northampton

Supporting Baby Basics Northampton
JAM – Helping Out recently had a cracking day organising a new storage space for Baby Basics Northampton, a fantastic local charity dedicated to supporting families in greatest need across Northants. They put together Moses baskets filled with essential items for new mums—and they don’t forget about dads either!
Space is always a challenge for charities like Baby Basics, so we’re proud to share that we’ve opened up part of our office here at Orchard Home Cleaning Ltd in Abington to help them store supplies. We’re currently holding some of their much-needed items, and they’re on the lookout for more space.

Baby Basics Northampton needs a secure, dry space of approximately 2.5m by 5m to store around 35 boxes of Moses baskets. If you have a spare room, garage, or business unit, they’d love to hear from you!
JAM – Helping Out Joined the Easter Egg Appeal
The good deeds didn’t stop there. JAM – Helping Out went on a mission to collect as many Easter eggs as possible for the Rising Sun Riders—a local motorbike group who have been delivering smiles (and chocolate!) for the past seven years.
On 19th April, the Rising Sun Riders will be revving up and riding out to deliver Easter eggs to Northampton General Hospital and Kettering General Hospital, spreading joy to children spending their Easter in hospital.
