A life hack is a way of finding something to make your life a little bit easier! When it comes to cleaning we have a bucketful of them. In fact, there are so many things you can do around the house in between our cleans to help you and we have decided to share five of our favourites that we think you can all benefit from.

Pet hair – Whether you have a lovable hound or a cute little kitten, the chances are you’re going to have to deal with pet hair on your carpet. Did you know that using a window wiper/squeegee is a great way of scooping up those stray hairs? Try it, you might surprise yourself!
Cleaning products – Are they taking up too much room in your cupboard? Struggling to find the polish because it’s right at the back and you can’t see it? Hang a shoe rack in the cupboard and use it to store each item. Makes it so much easier to find and access them.
Mopping the floor – but the bucket won’t quite fit in the sink for you to fill? Place a dustpan under the tap and hold the bucket underneath. Makes it so much easier to fill.
Cleaning the microwave – Remove any dirt inside the microwave by adding a glass of water with cut lemons inside. When the water starts boiling, turn it off and allow the water to sit and steam for a minute. The dirt will easily wipe away.
Grease stains on clothing – these are simple to remove. Just rub a bit of chalk over the stain before you put it in the wash. The chalk will absorb the grease – simples!
